We had a Dr.'s appointment today. This is the appointment where you're supposed to hear the heartbeat. And 4 weeks ago Dr. Alvarado said that there should be no problem hearing it in 4 weeks. She was wrong.
Dr. Lebovitz couldn't find it. She was all playing it cool though. It's still early etc. etc.
JR was like, well she said it's still early. And she didn't seem worried.
I was like, this is the woman who told me if I didn't push the baby out on the next push she was going to have to vacuum extract her as if she were telling me she just painted her kitchen yellow.
She's very calm. Which is good. But now I read into it a little bit more.
And then she sent us for an ultrasound. I don't know if that's just because it's convenient and ultrasound is downstairs or if all Doctors do that for everyone when you can't hear the heartbeat at 11 weeks or what.
But we got to see Bean. Heart rate was about 179. Measuring right on for the due date. No gender news or info about the placenta yet. She said it was too early to tell if the placenta is going to be previa.
So we still have our first trimester screening on July 11th. So we'll see Bean again then.
