13 Weeks

My cute jeans have been a little tight since Christmas. But that's because I ate too much and didn't exercise between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Last week though, I noticed that my work pants were getting a little tight. I figured it was bound to happen eventually and I'd have to think about buying some bigger pants or something in the next few weeks. Whatevs. I'm cool wit dat.

Yeah, apparently I outgrew my work pants over the weekend. So since Monday I've been half zipping my pants and looping a rubberband through the button hole and around the button. It's super sexy. I'm even doing this for the fat pants cordouroys. I have a couple other pairs of fat pants to try out, but I'm not holding my breath. By the time I get around to that I doubt they'll fit either.

I also outgrew a pair of comfy pants and my fat jeans felt pretty tight last night. I'm starting to worry about what I'm going to wear for our Orlando trip in 2 weeks. Hopefully Target has some dresses out. Yuck. I hate shopping alone. Maybe we should spill the beans to someone who will shop with me.

So in my e-mail this week they said that Spud should be about 3" long and weigh 20 grams. Eyelids are still fused shut but vocal cords are developed. They also said that soon ribs may appear but we definitely saw ribs last week in the ultrasound. They were adorable.

So today I was thinking that if it's a girl we should name it Spuds Mackenzie after Tara. And if it's a boy I like Spudinator (JR thinks that sounds like a potato gun which is awesome), JR liked Spud Webb after the shortest basketball player (don't ask me).

I'm noticing a lot more stomach acid. Hopefully it doesn't turn into heartburn. But since I seem to have almost every symptom/side effect of pregnancy so far I'm not holding out much hope for that either.

Speaking of pregnancy side effects I've been noticing gas bubbles a lot more lately. Ever since I saw how wiggly spud is on the ultrasound last week. So then I start to wonder if they're really gas bubbles or tiny little kicks and somersaults. I'm going to lean on the side of gas though, since I'm floating around like a blimp lately.
