Kaida and Babies

When Kaida sees pictures of babies on my computer she always comes to point them out to me. Baby is one of her favorite words and I'm pretty sure than Blankie is named Baby. It's a little bit confusing because the Taggie Baby Doll she also sleeps with is a baby too.

I've started telling her that a baby is coming to live with us but it's hard to tell if she gets it. I know she understands a lot more than she can tell us but this may be a little too abstract of a concept.

If I tell her that there's a baby in my belly she comes over and lifts up my shirt, points to my belly button, and says "beh-buh". Kind of like, "No mom, I think you're confused, that's a belly button, not a baby."
