We went out to the North Hills Band Festival last night with Grammy, Brandy, and Nate.
Kaida was very good. We had our first diaper change in public. It was quite an adventure since there was no changing station in the ladies room. So it was really public, on a stone wall next to the main walkway to the stands.
We also had our first feeding out in public. That went well too except she kept falling asleep so we just made it a snack instead of a full feeding. It was really funny when one band started playing loudly, it scared her enough that she unlatched.
This is Northgate's band in the background. I didn't realize that this hat was a 0-3 months size when I grabbed it. So it was a little bit big.
A little while after this it started to rain. So, since we didn't have any kids in the show, we left. It was still fun even if it was a little short. She didn't seem to mind the rain either, not that she was out in it for long since her car seat and stroller both have the canopies.
Last night she slept from 10:30 until 4:15 am. She may have slept longer except she made enough noise to wake me up and since I was awake I decided it was time to eat. It's pretty hard to make a sleeping baby eat so it took a full hour to feed her but that long stretch was great for me.
This morning we went to church and she was perfectly behaved again. We talked with Dr. Ruby about getting her baptized and becoming members and then there was a picnic!
